Carbon monoxide absolutely scares me to death. I am terrified at the thought of a scentless gas having the power to claim the lives of myself and my family. This is one of the reasons I am such a huge proponent of a Security Choice. In addition to burglary and fire monitoring, the system can also monitor for higher than normal levels of carbon monoxide, and will alert me if those levels are registered in my home. Additionally, in the event that the company can’t reach me, they will alert the proper medical authorities. This peace of mind is absolutely priceless to me. My home is monitored 24/7/365, and that allows me to rest easy. I know times are very tough right now, and many (or even most) people are cutting costs wherever they can. My husband and I are the same way; we’re being more mindful of where we spend our money, certainly. He and I refuse to cut our alarm monitoring though. It’s simply not worth the risk. I’d probably pay for the service regardless of cost, but its low price ensures that it’s really not even a concern.
