Guest post of the week by Bradley Guthrie

When The Shining mini series came out on satellite tv, I was really wondering how this was going to be compared to the cult classic The Shining done back in the 80s. So since my husband wanted nfl Sunday ticket and I wanted to get shows like The Shining we decided to make the switch to Directv and we sure are glad we did. Anyway, The Shining is one of my favorite Stephen King books and one of my favorite movies. It is always a little strange when a great movie is re-done and you have to wonder what else could possibly be done in the new version that wasn’t done in the original. However, The Shining mini series went above and beyond anything I could have expected. It stayed more true to the book and the entire book was covered since it was a multiple part series. I always liked Steven Weber, but I was curious as to how he was going to play this part. I had mainly seen him in a comedic role on the tv show Wings, so wasn’t sure how he was going to handle playing a crazed husband in the movie. But, the performance was truly spectacular. He was able to bring so much to the character and not play the character the same as Jack Nicholson originally. He made the character his for the movie.

Are you one of those people who want to play http://www.drstatsfantasyfootball.com/ fantasy football but don’t know how? If so, you have a couple of options here. One, you can log-on to your hughes net and research all the rules. Two, you can listen to the advice given here. Your best approach would be to do both, but if you’re lazy and you just want to read a short article, pay careful attention.

You will start by drafting a team. This team usually consists of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 D. QB stands for Quarterback. RB stands for Running Back. WR stands for Wide Receiver. TE stands for Tight End. K stands for Kicker. And D stands for Team Defense.

When an offensive player scores a touchdown, it will usually be worth 6 points. This can be done in the air or on the ground. This is also why the QB is so valuable. It used to be that the RB was the most valuable position because teams were always running the ball into the end zone, but now the opposite is true. K score 3 points by kicking a field goal and 1 point by kicking an extra point. There are usually bonus points for kicks over 50 yards. If a kicker misses a field goal, points will be subtracted from your overall score. This is also the case if a QB throws an interception. Defense scores by intercepting the ball, recoding sacks, and by giving up few points.

You will be playing against one other player over satellite internet TX. The team that scores more overall points will win.

Time flies really fast these days. Summer is almost over and fall is coming. Before we know it, winter would come and we would be covered up again with our winter jackets, winter cloaks and winter boots. The worst thing about winter I think is driving in the snow. It’s just a little hard to maneuver through traffic in a road filled with slippery ice. Good thing we have tire chains to make it easier for us.
There was a time when we visit my in laws in colorado  for Christmas. They bought a Grip 4×4 tire chain since they don’t have snow tires in their car. And we bought some too because sometimes we drive all the way to colorado on winter. Now i’ll feel safe with these goodies.
But this year, we are thinking of getting a new tire chains for our truck. I am not a big fan of winter but I am looking forward for Halooween and Christmas. It’s not because I love presents, although who doesn’t? But it’s because I love the look in my  baby’s face when he open his presents.

Guest post written by Carl Davis

Around the Davis household we bleed blue. We’re all life-long tried and true fans of my alma mater. I was the first one to go to it but even before that my parents were fans of the state school, they just couldn’t afford college so they never went and sent me there as the first member of my family to go to college.

I would say that we have to do a whole load of clothes in our house of that blue when we do laundry, but it’s more like two. So we’re really excited that football season has started and are ready for another great season this year. But we didn’t just get all of our tailgate gear together before the season started this year. I had been having some hearing problems last year at the games so I got some behind the ear hearing aids about a month ago.

Once we were at the first game I was really glad that I had some digital hearing aides because there was so much noise and cheering going on that it was even harder to listen to the announcers than normal because we were beating the other team so hard! So of course everyone was cheering more.

Being beautiful on the outside is all about keeping the face young and looking healthy. We know that the absence of wrinkles and sags, as well as having taut, toned, smooth and glowing skin are the signs of youthful and healthy beauty. Some go through so much just to maintain the vigor and agelessness of their faces, so much that they would spend a fortune on face lifts and other procedures that would keep them looking as close to 18 years old as possible.

There is, however, an inexpensive way of retaining youthful beauty, and that is through observing a regular facial fitness routine – that is, exercising the muscles of your face. The idea behind facial fitness is similar to the principle of doing a body workout: by exercising, you build up the muscles of your body and keep them toned and firm.
In case of the face, by exercising the facial muscles regularly, the muscles will be lifted enough to remove the sags, and the skin -sunny glow will be smoothened enough to remove the wrinkles. The blood circulation to the face will also increase with facial exercises, enabling the tissues of the face to repair themselves more quickly.

Maintaining a regular facial fitness routine is easy. It only takes a few minutes of your time and it can be done while watching television or waiting for the stoplight to turn green when driving. Here are a few sample exercises for different areas of the face.

Forehead. This will smooth down the wrinkles of the forehead. Place your fingers just above your brow. Then, with your fingers, pull the skin down. At the same time, try to raise your eyebrows. Repeat this ten times.

Eyelids. To deal with crows’ feet at the corners of the eyes, put the thumbs at the corners of the eyes and then shut your eyes tightly. Then, with your thumbs, pull at the skin towards the forehead. Repeat this ten times.

For sagging eyelids, hold your index fingers close to the brow bone. Afterwards, raise your eyebrows. At the same time, try to close your eyes. Again, repeat this ten times.

Cheeks. Form an ‘O’ with your lips and try to push them forward as fast as you can. Then release the ‘O’ and smile as widely as you can. Repeat ten times.

Lips. Push your lips outward in a pout as far as you can, then smile. Or you can suck on your finger as hard as you can. Once again, repeat ten times.

Neck. Arch your neck backward and place your hand on your neck just under the chin. After that, let your hand slide downward and push at your collarbone. An alternative to this one would be to push your lower lip outward as far as you can and tilt your chin up toward the ceiling, resting the hand against the collarbone as you are doing so.

Chin. Push your lower lip upward as high as you can. You can also press your thumb on the bone just under your chin and then push your tongue against your lower gums as if it is trying to meet your thumb. Another thing you can do is to tilt your chin up and massage the flesh under it with your thumb with strokes directed towards your neck. These exercises will take care of the double chin.

Just like in total body workouts, facial fitness exercises take time. However, if you truly want to see results on your face, try doing this once or twice a day, five times a week. You will be able to see changes in around a month or two.
